LifeSafety Power B150 Intelligent Step-Down Converter and LED Light Kits selected as top products after more than 2,200 security pros cast their votes
PHOENIX, AZ – November 18, 2025 — LifeSafety Power is pleased to announce that its LED Light Kit has been named the top product in the SecurityInfoWatch.com Readers’ Choice Product Awards in the Installation Tools category, and its B150 Intelligent Step-Down Converter has been named the top product in the Power Supplies category.
LifeSafety Power LED Light Kits are designed for easy installation and reliable visibility inside any E4, E6, E8, or E12 enclosure. Powerful magnetic mounting and lever-connect wiring allow fast, tool-free installation into LifeSafety Power traditional, Unified Power Solutions®, or ProWire® systems. There are two available lengths designed to supply lighting for various enclosure sizes. A Passive Infrared (PIR) motion sensor controls the lighting, turning it on or off when the enclosure door is opened or closed. Automatic voltage selection allows seamless usage at either 12 or 24VDC, which may be sourced from any available 12 or 24VDC output.
The B150 Intelligent Step-Down Converter transforms single-voltage systems into dual voltage with remote management via NetLink. It provides a fixed 12VDC output and an adjustable 3V–18VDC output, each delivering up to 6 Amps. An LED display shows voltage, current, and input power for instant feedback. Advanced protections—overcurrent, overvoltage, and thermal shutdown—ensure reliability. Compact and cost-effective, it suits space-limited environments. Ideal for card readers, access panels, CCTV, intercoms, IT devices, and low-voltage electronics, the B150 offers flexibility, efficiency, and robust performance for commercial applications.
