NetLink Remote Monitoring Modules

Create additional RMR and increase value to the end user.

Use the power of NetLink to create a more secure system by adding the capability to remote monitor the system power, remote test battery sets, generate email SNMP alert messages on a fault, abnormal condition or scheduled service needed, remote control selected devices, and utilize remote diagnostics to reduce tech service time.

NL2 2 1 1 1 2 1 No
NL4 4 1 2 1 2 2 Yes
NLX 24* 1 4 1 2** 8*** Yes

* NLX monitors 8 local SPI devices and 16 additional Gen2 LSP devices via RS485
** NLX has two on-board relays for controlling aux devices
*** NLX can monitor battery sets on up to eight Gen2 FPO power supplies or up to four Gen1 FPO power supplies

NetLink is a continuously growing and improving family of patented network communication modules from LifeSafety Power that monitor and control LSP's access and security systems over a local or wide area network.

NetLink continuously monitors and reports the health and status of host power supplies and their battery sets, allowing many service functions to be done remotely, reducing the cost and time of on site servicing as well as the difficulty or danger in working restricted areas.

Automated reports may be generated on any detected fault condition, fire alarm input activation, event activation, battery aging condition, or on a time base for scheduled confirmation of proper operation. A time and date stamped log of the past 100 events is kept as history in a buffer and can be accessed as a scheduled report, or immediately on an alert or occurrence.

In addition to multiple SPI ports and RS485 port (NLX only) for connection to FlexPower equipment, the NetLink modules provide a current sensor input(s), a remote temperature sensor input (NL4, NLX), a volt meter input, and a contact monitor input. The contact monitor input can be programmed to respond to either a normally open or normally closed contact or voltage presence or loss.

When used with LifeSafety Power's M8 power monitoring modules, individual output monitoring is added, providing visibility to voltage and current on each device, the ability or remotely power cycle devices, and the ability to receive proactive alerts on impending failures of devices such as locks.

Two outputs are also provided for use in power cycling external equiment.
